Your Association
The Heavy Civil Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is an influential organization that represents you and your Company's interest in meetings and discussions with Government Departments and Agencies, Municipal Councils, Engineering Consultants, and the General Public. We are your voice in the Road Construction, Water & Sewer, and Heavy Construction Industries.
Your Association's Objectives
To speak for the Heavy Civil industry engaged in highway construction and paving, concrete structure construction, municipal infrastructure projects, water and sewer projects, marine construction and other civil construction projects.
To develop and implement approved standard tendering and contractual practices and procedures. To develop rental rates for equipment used in the industry.
To promote good working relationships among its Members and Associate Members.
Give preference to Associate Members when purchasing materials, services and labour.
To help develop Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
To be aware of environmental specifications and regulations.
To provide opportunities for members to socialize and to disseminate relevant industry information
